About the accommodation

The newly renovated and comfortably furnished apartment in quiet surroundings is very spacious for 2-4 people. It has a separate bedroom (boxspring bed 180x200) with a spacious closet and a bathroom with shower. The living/dining area contains a modern and fully equipped fitted kitchen with dishwasher. The couch in the living room offers comfortable seating and sleeping accommodation for two people (folding bed approx. 150x200). The apartment has its own terrace with seating, a grill is provided. The apartment is located on the first floor of an apartment building with 3 residential units. The apartment is at ground level and has its own entrance, which is located on the right side of the house. A parking space is available directly in front of the house.

Transport connections

In addition to your own car, motorcycle or bicycle, you can also use public transport to explore the area. The “Bolando” bus stop is just a few minutes' walk away. From here you have regular connections to Freiburg and Bad Krozingen (every 30 minutes during the week, once an hour at weekends and on public holidays, bus line 7208). The nearest supermarket (Rewe) is located in Ehrenkirchen and can be reached in a few minutes by car or public bus.

The apartment is located in the heart of Bollschweil. The Bolando village inn, the Helin Kebab restaurant and Bollschweil Castle are just a few minutes' walk away. Twice a year (from the beginning of March to the end of April and from the beginning of October to the end of November), the Mangold family opens the doors to their Stuben-Strauße, where you can enjoy some Baden delicacies and wine from their own production - the Mangold winery is located right next door.

The neighboring municipality of St. Ulrich is also a great destination - there are numerous hiking trails and inns to stop off at, such as Gasthaus Rössle or Sonners Heinehof. The baroque church from the 18th century is a showpiece for art lovers.

Bollschweil is located in the idyllic Hexental valley to the east of the Black Forest and around 10 km south of Freiburg i.Br. Thanks to its proximity to nature and the mountains, there are also wonderful hiking and cycling opportunities in addition to winter sports.
